Performance & the learning loop
Measure the lift from autopilot-generated campaigns, and see how results feed back into future generation.
The autopilot closes its loop by measuring what it ships and learning from it. The performance view on the autopilot dashboard shows the real outcomes of autopilot-generated campaigns, and those outcomes are folded back into how future campaigns are drafted.
The lift dashboard
Performance rolls up every autopilot opportunity that produced a campaign, joining delivery statistics with attributed conversions and revenue. It reuses your existing delivery logs and conversion tracking — no separate measurement to set up. You get:
- Workspace totals — campaigns, messages sent, open rate, conversions, and revenue across all autopilot activity.
- A per-kind breakdown — the same metrics split by opportunity kind (abandon, win-back, post-conversion, and so on), ranked by conversions, so you can see which plays earn their keep.
Because every autopilot campaign is a normal EngageApp campaign, it also appears in your standard analytics alongside everything else.
The learning loop
Before drafting a new campaign, the autopilot compiles a compact “what’s working” snapshot — a short, per-opportunity-kind summary of recent performance — and injects it into the generation prompt. In practice this nudges new drafts toward the kinds and approaches that have converted best for your workspace, and away from ones that haven’t.
The feedback is intentionally lightweight: it shapes the copy and framing of generated campaigns. It does not silently change your guardrails or autonomy mode — those stay exactly as you set them.
Reading the numbers
- Outcomes accumulate as approved campaigns send and conversions land inside their attribution window, so the view fills in over the first cycles rather than immediately.
- A kind with high sends but low conversions is a signal to tighten its audience or rethink the offer; the autopilot will also naturally lean away from it over time.
Next steps
- Make sure conversion goals are set so revenue is attributed.
- Compare against the rest of your program in analytics.
- Revisit guardrails as results come in.
